Mosil lubricants has introduced mosil sn-33. It is synthetic silicone grease with highly stable chemical additives such as rust and corrosion inhibitor and anti-oxidants. It is highly inert and has an excellent fluidity at very low temperatures [up to -70°c]. Thus it is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. It is ideally suited for bearings requiring low starting torques. It can be applied by hand, or grease gun or can be lightly smeared on sliding surfaces. It is usable for antifriction ball bearings operating in cryogenic environment, freezers card casters, conveyor bearings in cold storage, aircraft instruments, low torque applications, etc. This grease is advantageous because, it operates effectively at low temperatures, reduces maintenance downtime, protects from rust and corrosion, is a low torque grease, and a long-life lubricant for industry.
